June 6th 2013,
Assalam Alaykoum Ar Rahmathullah Ar Barakathu
Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Rahim
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bint Naif bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud
My name is Nathalie Morin, I am a foreign wife with Canadian nationality of a Saudi national,
Saeed bint Abdullah bin Saeed Al Hamood Al Shahrani.
I am Muslim praise be to God and on March 5th 2005 , I came to Saudi Arabia in order to live a normal life in an Islamic country with my Saudi husband and our son. Sadly, as soon as I arrived on Saudi soil I realized that my life won't be normal and since the beginning I have to face many huge tests. We never had the right to build a life in Saudi Arabia and our family union has always been denied by the authorities. We never had the right to work with a decent wage and we never had the right to study and get an advanced education.
My husband was quickly excluded from his job and he can not do anything else since he started doing this work very young. No any other decent job was offered to my husband, like if his Executive Chiefs wanted to punish him.
Our financial resources have often been cut almost zero leaving us eat only bread, dates and drinking unsafe water.
My husband was physically tortured repeatedly and huge political pressure has always been on our family. Affecting us all, including children. We all live in psychological torture under a treatment of reward and punishment.
We never had the right to do anything without asking permission of the authorities.
We have never been able to live normally and our rights as Saudi individuals and Saudi family were denied.
We never had the right to leave the territory of the Kingdom in order to have a family vacation in neighboring countries.
We never had the right to obtain a passport and travel.
We never had the right to a family identity card opened without blacklisted data. So even the Arabian Gulf countries ( GCC ) are forbidden to go for our family.
With years two other children were born and I am currently six months pregnant with a fourth child.
In December 2011, my husband applied for passports for each of our children, but the authorities have refused to issue passports.
During the early months of 2012, Canadian government tried to make diplomacy with Saudi government on three diplomatic meetings about our case. However, Saudi government had rejected all proposals from Canada.
I am the wife of my husband and the mother of my children. My life is with them and I only wish that we could live normally , nicely and comfortably. Our union was blessed by His Royal Highness late Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and our children are the fruits of that. I wish I could guarantee a fulfilling childhood for my children with a better future with all the same rights of all Saudi citizens.
I'm asking in the name of my small family including myself to get freedom, justice for all these years destroyed since 2005 and fairness.
